Following the May conference, a new union brings together federations of real estate diagnostics professionals.
Three professional organizations have created the Union of Federations for Real Estate Diagnostics, Infrastructure and Industry (UFD3I). Announced on September 21, 2026, this structure aims to facilitate exchanges with public authorities and, according to its founders, brings together more than 4,000 real estate diagnosticians.
Three federations united
The Alliance du diagnostic immobilier, Filiance and Sidiane are behind this new union. Their objective is to jointly represent the profession’s positions when their interests converge, rather than creating an additional organization intended to act alone.
In a press release, Sidiane’s president, Olivier Héaulme, presents UFD3I as a framework for bringing people together and indicates that it may welcome other organizations in the future. The three federations estimate that the union represents more than 4,000 professionals in France.
Joint work already underway
The founding organizations are already cooperating on several issues. In particular, they are working on the development of a code of ethics for real estate diagnostics, a task entrusted by the Minister of Housing to Member of Parliament Daniel Labaronne.
Their collaboration also extends to texts concerning asbestos and lead, as well as to standards under development relating to energy performance diagnostics (DPE), termites, and dry rot. The creation of UFD3I thus formalizes a rapprochement around common regulatory and professional issues.
An announcement following the Real Estate Diagnostics Conference
This initiative comes four months after the first National Conference on Real Estate Diagnostics, convened in Paris on May 21, 2026, by the Minister of Housing, Vincent Jeanbrun. The meeting aimed to better structure the profession. The union announced on September 21 is part of this process, giving the three federations a common representative for their discussions with public authorities.
The announcement was published on September 25, 2026. At this stage, the information provided relates to the creation of the union, its three founding members, its claimed influence, and the issues on which they are already cooperating.
