
Does this FRIED ICE CREAM HACK actually WORK?!
✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
• Ice cream of choice
• Soft white sandwich bread
• 2 eggs
• Neutral oil, for frying
Directions:
1. Scoop the ice cream into balls and wrap each one tightly in plastic wrap. Shape into smooth rounds and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until solid.
2. Cut the crusts off the bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin. Unwrap the ice cream and wrap each ball in a slice of bread, pressing and sealing the edges well. Freeze again for another 3 hours.
3. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Dip each wrapped ice cream ball into the egg wash, making sure it’s fully coated. Place back in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
4. Heat oil to 375°F. Fry each ball for 10–15 seconds, or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy that hot-and-cold bite! 🍨🍞
